Profile
- To add/change a yearbook affiliation, click on the "Edit" link located on the right side of the "Yearbook Affiliations" box on your profile. Then, click on the tab associated with the affiliation you wish to update (i.e. High School, College, etc). When finished, click on the "Save" button.
- Only your "Top Friends" will be displayed in the Friends box on your profile. To make changes, click on the "Edit My Top Friends" link located on the right side of the "Friends" box. Drag your friends to their desired position and click on the "Save Top Friends" button.
- To reorder your video playlist, click on the "Edit" link located on the right side of the "Video" box on your profile. Drag your videos to their desired position and click on the "Save Playlist" button.
- To add a video, click on the "Add Video" link located on the right side of the "Video" box on your profile. Then, select one of the three add options - Embed, Grab a YouTube Video, or Upload.
- To reorder your playlist, click on the "Edit" link located on the right side of the "Playlist" box. Then, click on the "Playlist Order" tab. Drag your songs to their desired position and click on the "Save Playlist" button.
- To add songs, click on the "Edit" link located on the right side of the "Playlist" box. Then, click on the "Add a New Song" tab and follow the instructions. You'll be able to adjust the order of the playlist once you've uploaded multiple songs by going to the "Playlist Order" tab.
Also, feel free to grab songs from other members. To do this, click on the "+" symbol located to the right of the song title on the playlist. - To play music, click on a song title in your virtual iPod and hit "Play".
To have music playing when other members come to your page, click on "Add/Manage Songs" and select the Auto-play "On" radio button. Then, click on the "Save Playlist" button. - By default, other members can see when you have visited their profile. However, once you have enough LunchMoney, you can purchase "Stealth Browsing".
This one-time purchase will allow you to view someone else's profile without it showing up in their Profile Views. Your Stealth Browsing purchase will never expire – you will be able to turn it on and off anytime you want (use the ON/OFF link below the message envelope on your homepage).
To purchase Stealth Browsing, click on the vertical "My Stuff" tab on the left side of the page. Then, click on the "My Lunch Money" link. From there, click on the "Buy it Now" tab, which will take you to a list of additional site features available for purchase. - To see who viewed your profile, click on the "Profile Views" link in the "Action Items" section of your homepage. As an alternative, click on the "View All" link associated with the Profile Views icon located under your profile picture.
- To post a blog entry, click on the vertical "My Stuff" tab on the left side of the page. From there, click on the "My Blog" link.
- An Autograph is the virtual version of a traditional yearbook message.
To post an Autograph, go to the profile associated with the person you would like to leave an Autograph for and scroll down to the "Autograph" section. Then, click on the "Sign [user]'s yearbook" link. Insert the desired content and click the "Post Autograph" link. - To remove an Autograph, click on the "[Delete]" link located under the Autograph in question.
- We take spam/abuse seriously, and sites or code that are similar to previously abusive sites or code may be stripped. If you feel there is nothing wrong with the code you are trying to paste, please send it to us by using the Suggestions link at the bottom of every page.
- To edit your profile information, click on the "Edit" link located on the right side of the "Basic" information tab. Here you will be able to update Basic, Personal, Contact, and Professional information.
- Attempting to customize the appearance of the profile by adding code to the "Whatever I Want" section can cause this. To fix it, remove any code in the "Whatever I Want" section that is used for altering the appearance of the profile.
- Selecting more than one high school, college, grad school, etc is not possible at this time.
- To select which boxes appear on your profile, click on the "Manage Profile Boxes" link located under your profile picture. Uncheck the box next to each section you wish to hide. When finished, click on the "Save
- myYearbook profiles by default are available for other members of the myYearbook community to view. To restrict who can view your profile, click on the "Settings" link in the upper right-hand corner of the page. Under the "Privacy" tab is the setting "Who can view my profile?" Choose your desired level of privacy, then make sure to click the "Save" button to confirm your selection.
- Customizing the profile is easy - click on the "Change Profile Layout" link located under your profile picture. A box will appear at the top of the screen. You can browse the layout market on the "Buy A Layout" tab or create your own layout using the "Create Your Own Layout" tab.
- To create your own layout, click on the "Change Profile Layout" link located under your profile picture. A box will appear at the top of the screen. Click on the "Create Your Own Layout" tab.
Here you will be able to customize the text, outer/inner background, etc. When you are finished creating the layout, add a "Layout Name" and click on the "Save" button. - There are certain words that cannot be included in the first name or last name fields (for example "admin").

- There are three ways to turn IM off.
To remove the IM bar entirely, choose one of these two ways:- Visit your homepage and click to turn IM off in the top right corner.
- Choose "Off" for your IM setting on the Settings page.
If you just want to log off temporarily, click to open your buddy list at the bottom right of any myYearbook page. At the top of the buddy list, click your name to change your IM status to Away or Busy, or to sign out of IM entirely. If you sign out, the IM bar will remain at the bottom right corner of the screen for you to sign back on whenever you want. - Attempting to customize the appearance of the profile by adding code to the "Whatever I Want" section can cause this. To fix it, remove any code in the "Whatever I Want" section that is used for altering the appearance of the profile.
- To access your Block List, click on the Settings link in the upper right-hand corner. Under the "Privacy" tab, click the "See which users you have blocked" link. You'll then see a list of everyone you've blocked; each one has a "Remove block" link so that you can unblock them if you choose.
To go directly to your Block list, click here now. - When a photo is suddenly reset to L$1, it means that it hasn't sold in 48 hours and the previous owner has chosen to Cash Out. When this occurs, the price of the picture is reset to L$1 -- which means you can earn more Lunch Money as the price rises again!
- If you have not received Lunch Money after completing a credit card payment, click the "Missing L$?" link found towards the top right of this page
In the overlay that comes up after you click "Missing L$", select the payment method, then give a brief explanation of what happened, and click "Submit." A Member Services Representative will get back to you within one business day.
